You have always been the creative mind in your group of friends and like to deal with design or coding? Here you have the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship as a digital media designer and support the graphic team or the frontend team.

Creating layouts
To help our customers have nice websites, we create layouts for them in Adobe XD. This program is very innovative and allows us to communicate with customers in addition to designing. If there is a part they don’t like, they can leave a comment in which they write what should be changed.
Designing print media and presentations
Do you still remember what PowerPoint is? We also use this program to create presentations for customers or internally. The design of print media, such as price lists or documents, is also part of our work.
Implementation of the layouts
Together with the team, the existing layout is created and implemented as a website. HTML and CSS should not be a foreign word for you.

Qualifications
Graduation
You have at least a good General Certifitcate of Secondary Education or A levels.
Creativity
A good sense of design, colors and typography will take you far to the forefront in this profession.
Passion
You love what you do? Perfect because if you love what you do, the best results will come out.
Teamwork
Of course you should work independently and responsibly but above all teamwork is part of it every day.
Experience
It’s always nice to have already completed your first internships before completing an apprenticeship. First knowledge of HTML & CSS and the Adobe Creative Cloud would be good.
English skills
Our team is international and therefore good English skills are an advantage if you have to talk to your colleagues from abroad.

The IHK - Industrie- und Handelskammer - is an institution of the economy and for the economy and at home in several regions. This institution represents the official interests of companies in Germany and is located in 79 regions all around Germany. Throughout the whole apprenticeship it clarifies questions about the training itself, for both trainees and companies, examinations and also problems.
